  1. Make sure your Fitbit tracker and charging cable are clean. Dust and debris can accumulate over time, which could prevent the device from charging properly. Here’s a guide on how to keep clean your Fitbit tracker.
  2. Try plugging your Fitbit charger into a different USB port. Using a UL-certified wall charger will work, as will a simple USB input on a computer. Your Fitbit may not charge properly if you’re using a USB hub.
  3. Make sure your Fitbit device’s pins are properly lined up on the charging cable. If the charging pins on your Fitbit device aren’t perfectly lined up on your charger, your Fitbit not charging
  4. You might need to restart your Fitbit device, restarting your tracker reboots the Fitbit device but does not delete any data.

    If your battery is low, when you wake up your Fitbit you’ll see a low battery icon after a few seconds. If you see a critical battery icon you’ll be unable to navigate to any of the tracker screens until you charge your tracker. Your tracker continues to track your activity until your battery runs out.

    You can check your battery level at any time on the battery screen on your tracker or on your Fitbit dashboard.
